Man arrested over indecent images of child
57-year-old detained after police searches
A man has been arrested in Belfast over indecent images of a child.
The 57-year-old man was arrested following the search of a property on College Avenue in the south of the city.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland described the operation as a "planned search.''
The man was arrested on suspicion of possessing indecent images of a child and distributing indecent images of a child.
He remained in custody on Saturday evening.
