Man arrested in connection with County Down pensioner's stabbing
A man in his 80s has been taken to hospital after suffering stab wounds in an incident on Wednesday in Millisle
Police have arrested a man in his 50s in connection with the incident.
Just before 6:30 on Wednesday evening, there was a report of an altercation in a house in the Woburn Drive area of the village. A man was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment to stab wounds to his left hand and head injuries.
A 54-year old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The PSNI have appealed to anyone who may have information in relation to the incident to contact them.
Detectives investigating a serious assault which occurred at the Woburn Drive area of Millisle on Wednesday 6th July arrested a man in his 50s.
