Man arrested after motorist attacked in Newtownabbey

A man has been arrested after a motorist sustained cuts to his leg in Newtownabbey.

Just after 8 o'clock on Saturday night, it was reported a 25-year old man got into a car with a number of passengers already in it.

It is reported the male in the front of the vehicle attacked the 25-year old with a knife and took money and a phone from him.

A 38-year old man has been arrested.
