Major fire at west Belfast crystal shop 'treated as suspicious'

A major fire that caused extensive damage to a crystal factory in west Belfast is being investigated by police, who are treating it as 'suspicious.'

The blaze was reported at the Belfast Crystal Shop at around 6pm on Saturday, just off Kennedy Way.

The business has reportedly been open for around 40 years.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, but at the height of the incident, seven fire appliances, including an aerial unit, including 41 firefighters responded to the scene.

It was put out completely by around 10pm.
