Homes evacuated and roads were closed in Fern Park

A security alert in Londonderry has ended after it was declared a hoax.
A suspicious object was found in the Fern Park area this afternoon.
Nearby roads were closed and a number of homes evacuated.
All roads were reopened and residents returned to their homes after it was examined by Army Technical Officers.
