Londonderry primary school evacuated amid security alert

A security alert which forced the evacuation of a primary school in Londonderry has ended.

The alert was in the Richill Park area of the Waterside - it was closed as police continued enquiries.

A short time later, police said the security alert had ended and that nothing untoward had been found.

A PSNI spokesperson thanked the public for their patience as they carried out their operation.
