Limavady security alert declared as hoax
A security alert in Limavady has been declared as a hoax by police.
The alert was sparked on Saturday after a suspicious package was discovered in the Benbradagh Avenue area of the town.
Local residents were evacuated from their homes while a cordon was established and police investigated.
However, the package was declared safe and those people have since been allowed to return to their homes.
