Berthed in Belfast for almost 100 years, HMS Caroline moored in Belfast’s Alexandra Dock, Titanic Quarter will reopen from Saturday 1st April.

Fully restored as a remarkable must-see floating museum, HMS Caroline is one of Northern Ireland’s most unique visitor attractions with an amazing story to tell.

The last known surviving ship from 1916’s Battle of Jutland – HMS Caroline is one of the largest and most historically important battles in naval history.

Located in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter, this historic vessel offers a unique opportunity to experience life aboard a ship largely intact from the day it was completed in 1914.

Visitors will step onboard for an adventure to top them all, as a refurbished exhibition tells the story of HMS Caroline’s incredible 100 years-plus life of service through its stunning and authentic interior and décor, compelling cinematography and engaging hands-on interaction.

An immersive cinematic experience puts visitors right at the heart of the action of the Battle of Jutland. The Virtual Access Suite is an opportunity to crack codes, send signals, fire torpedoes and steer the ship.

The incredible sights, sounds and smells of the Engine Room await in the very heart of the ship. The captain’s, officers’ and crew quarters have been fully restored to their former glory, while visitors can take in even more history when relaxing in the Mess Deck Café.

A bumper Easter weekend of activities will also take place from Friday 7th to Monday 10th April with treats-galore in store for families with children, including puppetry, face painting; storytelling; sea shanties and arts and crafts.

There will also be an HMS Caroline Easter Trail from Saturday 1st to Sunday 16th April. All Easter-themed activities are included as part of the HMS Caroline tour ticket price.

HMS Caroline tours are available from 10am - 5pm daily from 1st April. Last admission is 4pm. Tickets are available to book now at www.hmscaroline.co.uk
