Ruairí McSorley first found fame back in 2015, when a clip of him walking to school in the snow went viral. You might remember his incredible accent and hilarious catchphrase - "You wouldn't be long getting frostbit"

It's become one of Northern Ireland's most famous quotes about the weather 🤣

Six years later and Ruairí is still making headlines. Over the weekend Ruairí got into difficulty in the water near Inch. He was first reported missing at 8am on Sunday after a walker found his belongings on the beach.

12 hours later he was rescued by the RNLI at around 8pm, the crew on board were shocked to see the Co. Derry man wasn't alone...he was surrounded by a pod of dolphins.

Ruairí praised the team who helped rescue him, he was taken to University Hospital Kerry in Tralee for treatment. It's been reported that he was dangerously hypothermic, however he's now on the mend.

The recent warm weather has brought with it an array of fascinating marine life. Dolphins have been spotted up and down the coast, from Strangford Lough to Rathlin Island.
