Five arrests after teen gang attack

It's thought one was armed with a pocket knife.

Police are appealing for witnesses to this incident.

Five teenages have been arrested after four boys were attacked in Strabane last night (Sunday).

The four victims were aged between 15 and 17, and it is believed they were set upon in the Ballycoleman Estate by another group of teens, one of whom may have been armed with a pocket knife.

The five assailants made off from the area on foot and were later arrested when police stopped a bus on the Beltany Road outside Omagh.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at around 9pm last night and who witnessed what happened.
