Police have seized a quantity of drugs, cash and suspected firearms in a search on two houses in Belfast and Dundonald.

A man was arrested as a result of the search yesterday (Tuesday) evening the PSNI's Criminal Investigations Department.

Police said the man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply, possession of a firearm in suspicious circumstances and other alleged offences.

He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
