Two arrested under terrorism act

A man and woman, both in their thirties have been arrested under the Terrorism act.

The 38 and 35-year-olds were detained after searches in North Belfast and Dunmurry on Saturday.

The PSNI said it was targeting violent dissident republican activity.

It follows a number of similar operations over the past three days.

A number of guns were recovered after searches in the Lurgan area on Friday.

While in an incident in Benburb on Thursday, officers found explosives.
