Snow Patrol performed an incredible acoustic set to a sold out Bangor Marina last night, with Courtney Cox in the wings.

The Friends star is engaged to the band's Johnny McDaid, it's been reported that the pairs are planning to marry in a private ceremony in Derry/Londonderry sometime soon.

Courtney was spotted before the show walking along the marina with a friend. She bumped into some fans and smiled for a quick snap and chat.

5,000 local fans celebrated lead singer Gary Lightbody's Freedom of the Borough Ards and North Down.

The pop-up stage at the McKee Clock welcomed Bangor band The Florentinas, as well as Lucy Gaffney and David C Clements.

McDaid and Cox who have been together since 2013, were separated for nine months during the pandemic. Johnny was stuck in London, while Courtney was living in Los Angeles.

After being reunited, it's alleged the pair are wanting to get married as soon as possible, here in Northern Ireland.

Distance clearly makes the heart grow fonder.
