BREAKING: M2 closed after multiple vehicle crash

Emergency services are at the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash in Belfast.

The M2 foreshore citybound has been closed at J1 Fortwilliam due to a collision between Fortwilliam and Duncrue Street.

The M2 citybound traffic slow moving and queued back to Bellevue.

Traffic exiting at Fortwilliam is being diverted to the Shore Road.

As a knock on from this delays for M2 Northbound traffic exiting at J1 Fortwilliam.

A PSNI spokesperson: "Road users are advised of congestion on the M2 Southbound at its Fortwilliam junction due to a road traffic collision involving a number of vehicles.

"The area is passable with care, and one lane remains open. Please exercise caution as you approach."
