Making a welcome return to the grounds of Belfast City Hall, the Continental Christmas Market is a celebration of festive sights, sounds and smells from around the world.

We've got exciting news - the gates will swing open once again from 20th November - 23rd December 2021!

From bustling beer tents to dutch pancakes...no matter the weather, we'd queue for it all! We've gotten quite good at that recently 😂

Last year was the first time in 15 years that the market wasn't allowed to run, Covid-19 regulations and lockdown restrictions prohibited the event from taking place.

However organisers shared the exciting news on social media this morning that the event can and will take place this year. Locals have gone mad for it!

Pre-pandemic the Belfast Continental Market was a thriving event, that seen visitors from near and far.

The market became a tradition for many families, be that a place to grab last minute Christmas gifts or perhaps an after work party.

It captured everyone's imagination at Christmas, from the twinkling 20ft tree to the helter-skelter and snowy bubble dome. As you walked through the busy lanes and vibrant food village, everyone would have a smile on their faces. It will be fantastic to see it return to the city later this year.
