Ryan McMullan at CHSq 2022: Everything you need to know before you go
Ryan will close CHSq 2022 🎵
Last updated 22nd Aug 2022
Following a string of sold out Belfast shows, Northern Irish singer-songwriter Ryan McMullan will headline and close Custom House Square 2022 on Saturday 27th August 2022.
Growing up in the seaside town of Portaferry, Co. Down - “where everybody knows your name”, he says wryly – the young Ryan abandoned his youthful passion for hurling in favour of music.
These days, he's one of the most exciting young singer-songwriters around, but was a self- confessed 'late bloomer' when it came to his musical career.
Ryan has toured worldwide with some of the most well known artists such as Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol, Kodaline and Foy Vance.
There's something special about playing to a home crowd though. When Ryan broke the news that he would be closing the festival in one of Belfast's most iconic venues, he said: "To play a 2nd CHSQ is a dream come true. Having some of my favourite artists on the bill will make it a night to remember! Let’s have a night out in “Belfast City” I’ll see you soon."
If you're heading to the show, there's a few important things you need to know, before you go...
