Olly Murs Live at Botanic Gardens: Everything you need to know before you go

Pop star Olly Murs is set to close this summer's Live at Botanic Gardens festivals on Saturday (10th June).

Olly first rose to fame after appearing on The X Factor back in 2009!

In December 2022, Olly released his seventh studio album, 'Marry Me' which featured his comeback song 'Die of a Broken Heart'. 'Marry Me' went to Number 1 in the UK.

All this week we've been giving away tickets for the final night at Live at Botanic Gardens, we cannot wait for it!

ENTRY POINTS

GATES OPEN AT 6.30PM ON SATURDAY 10TH JUNE

Entry to the venue is via the following entrances ONLY to the Botanic Gardens:

-Main Gate on University Road (between Queen’s University and Ulster Museum)

Box office for sales and ticket collection located at this entrance.

-Queens Library, Botanic Avenue (Wheelchair Accessible Entrance)

FOOD & DRINKS

It’s important to know that the bars at the venue are CARD ONLY - not cash!

Concessions are cash and card. There will be no ATMs inside the park. Once a patron has exited the venue, re-entry is not possible, so it’s important to be prepared!

Proof of age may be required if you wish to purchase alcohol.

Drinking water fountains will be available at various points throughout the venue.

TRANSPORT

Bus & Rail options can bring you within 5 minutes’ walk to the venue, visit translink.co.uk for further information.

PARKING

Event organisers have asked drivers to use car parks on the outer perimeter and walk to the venue.

Aiken Promotions have advised: “Pay particular attention to on-street parking signs such as pay & display and do not park in restricted or ‘no parking’ areas as a robust parking enforcement operation will be in place.”

TICKET INFORMATION

Ticketmaster is the official ticket seller for this event. Beware of bogus ticket sellers & tour operators. Do not buy tickets from unofficial sources (including websites).

Standing Tickets are the only tickets on sale. No type of seating will be allowed inside the venue as these are prohibited.

Please refrain from bringing any fold up seating, inflatables, or any form of temporary seating as you will not be allowed enter the venue with them.

Saturday looks set to be another dry day with sunny spells, becoming warm and very humid. Cloud will increase from the south later with an increasing risk of heavy showers following. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Olly Murs and Rizzle Kicks: 'Heart Skips A Beat'

Released in August 2011, Olly teamed up with hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks (AKA Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule) for massive hit single 'Heart Skips A Beat'.


The single, which is still a fan-favourite to date, become Olly's second Number 1 single in the UK, featuring on his second studio album 'In Case You Didn't Know'.

Olly Murs and Flo Rida: 'Troublemaker'

Olly's 2012 hit 'Troublemaker' has a guest appearance from US rapper Flo Rida. The upbeat track was the lead single from Olly's third studio album 'Right Place Right Time', with the song hitting Number 1 in the UK Charts - a massive success!

Olly Murs and Robbie Williams: 'I Wanna Be Like You'

In 2013 Robbie Williams released his second Swing Album 'Swings both Ways', which was packed with some Jazz classic and had plenty of guest performers. Olly joined the former Take That singer for a rendition of 'I Wanna Be Like You' from Disney's 1967 film, The Jungle Book.

Olly Murs and Travie McCoy: 'Wrapped Up'

In 2014, former Gym Class Heroes member Travie McCoy (who's best known for his single 'Billionaire' with Bruno Mars) added a verse on Olly's single 'Wrapped Up'.
The track was the lead single from Olly's fourth album 'Never Been Better', peaking at Number 3 on the UK Charts.

Olly Murs and Demi Lovato: 'Up'

Perhaps one of those collabs that NOBODY saw coming, but when Olly worked with former Disney star Demi Lovato for 'Up' in 2014, fans were over the moon!


The duet peaked at Number 4 on the UK charts, with 'Up' featuring on Olly's fourth album 'Never Been Better'. Demi also included the track on the extended version of their album 'Demi'.

Olly Murs and Louisa Johnson 'Unpredictable'

Olly and Louisa Johnson teamed up for 'Unpredictable' back in 2017. The song's video starred both singers as professional tennis players in the 1970s, the video sees the pair battle over a tense tennis match, Murs vs Johnson.

In September 2018, Olly Murs and Snoop Dogg released their hit 'Moves'.
