FREE St Patrick's Day Eve concert returns to CHSq this year

Belfast’s Custom House Square will come alive with the sound of some of the island’s most exceptional musical talent this St Patrick’s Eve for a family-friendly, fun packed concert presented by The Duncairn Arts Centre.
Headlining the event will be award-winning Dublin singer-songwriter Lisa Hannigan who has captivated audiences across the world with her mesmerizing vocals and soulful folk-pop sound. Her band consists of an ensemble of outstanding musicians & singers for a truly immersive experience.
Trad supergroup Jiggy continue the tradition of their musical ancestors while bringing a whole new exotic flavour to the table. More of a collective than an orthodox band, Jiggy’s mercurial line up mixes and melds Irish traditional music, world rhythms and cutting-edge dance grooves. Joining them on-stage will be ethnic dance group Shamrock Bhangra.
Also performing will be David Keenan who is one of the most fascinating new Irish artists of the past decade. His thoughtful, poetic approach to songwriting and raw, honest delivery make his live performances unmissable and unforgettable.
This concert will be alcohol-free to help create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. This event is open to everyone from all backgrounds in our city, especially those who may not have attended a St Patrick’s event before.
As well as the top quality music on-stage there will be a host of circus performers, face painters, balloon artists, buskers and more to keep the little ones entertained, as well as family friendly food vendors on-site.
The concert is free but admission is ticket only.
Free tickets will be available from 10am on Monday 6th March at visitbelfast.com and tickets are limited to 4 per person.
