12 local ambassadors have joined the Moy Park Belfast City Marathon '26.2 Crew', embarking on an exciting journey to complete their very FIRST EVER marathon.

The '26.2 Crew' will also be supported on their marathon journey by experts Dr Gavin Breslin (Senior Lecturer Queen’s University Belfast, Sport & Exercise Psychologist) and Dr Mark Matthews (Lecturer Ulster University in Sport Physiotherapy).

Cool FM's Curtis McCosh has signed up for the challenge after completing the team relay last year.

"I plan on documenting the whole training process," Curtis explains. "So if running a marathon is on your bucket list, hopefully it will be of some help to you".

Belfast's event is renowned for the incredible local support and crowds to cheer everyone on throughout their 26.2 mile journey.

The Marathon route runs through all 4 areas of Belfast; North, South, East and West, starting at Stormont Estate and finishing in Ormeau Park.
