2024 NI Winter Cup Returns to Kirkistown this weekend for a special cause

The 2024 NI Winter Cup is back, and it’s bigger, brighter and more exciting than ever! 🏁

Following the roaring success of last year’s inaugural event, this thrilling two-day karting extravaganza will once again light up the historic Kirkistown Racing Circuit in aid of Cash for Kids NI – Mission Christmas.

With its mission to ensure "Christmas is for Every Child," this cherished charity is at the heart of the event.

The NI Winter Cup isn’t just about racing; it’s a celebration of the karting community. From talented youngsters as young as six to seasoned racers up to 60 years of age, competitors from both Northern and Southern Ireland will come together for this unique event.

But it’s not only about what happens on the track—spectators and participants alike can enjoy a host of exciting activities:

Pub Quiz: Test your knowledge and win prizes!

Trolley Race: Fast, furious, and fantastically fun.

Tire Change Competition: Who will reign supreme as the fastest pit crew?

This year promises an unforgettable atmosphere as the only floodlit kart race in Northern Ireland takes center stage.

Event Details:

Practice Day: Friday, November 15th | 1:30 PM – Late (Track activities until 7 PM)

Race Day: Saturday, November 16th | 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Location: Kirkistown Racing Circuit, Newtownards

With adrenaline-pumping action on the track and plenty to keep fans engaged off it, the 2024 NI Winter Cup is the perfect way to cap off an incredible year of racing.
