Ladies, we're all guilty! As soon as we see someone posing with a cute puppy or fluffy four-legged friend, we swipe right!

But does it really matter which breed of dog they have? Surely they're all adorable 🥰

Well, a recent study by leading raw dog food company ProDog Raw, complied data from over 2,000 dating app users and their profiles, to find out whether there is a correlation between having a profile picture showing a dog and the number of matches a user gets.

Results show that having a dog in your profile picture increases the chance of a match by a whopping 72%.

Cockapoos came out on top, with the French Bulldog and Miniature Dachshund following close behind.

It's bad news for Chihuahua owners, who sadly came in last place with the least amount of matches.

It's certainly an easy conversation starter - singletons can ask quirky questions about the dog to help break any awkward tension in the chat.

The top 10 breeds are:

Cockapoo

French Bulldog

Miniature Dachshund

Golden Retriever

English Bulldog

Labrador

Husky

Rottweiler

King Charles Spaniel

Staffordshire Bull Terrier
