It had been the subject of rumours for many weeks, but finally last week it was confirmed that Take That would be performing on the final of The X Factor. And of course, after this confirmation EVERYONE wanted the boys to reunite with their former member and current X Factor judge, Robbie Williams.
And they didn't disappoint! On last night's show (2nd December), Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald performed 'Shine', before Robbie joined them on stage to perform 'Everything Changes', resulting in so many fans reminiscing about the early days of Take That.
One fan tweeted, 'Robbie joining take that on stage like old times #XFactor', sic with another saying, 'ROBBIE IS PERFORMING WITH TAKE THAT MY HEART CANT TAKE THIS OH MY GOD #XFactor'. sic
Other fans couldn't contain their excitement at the reunion saying, 'So yeah I just screamed when Robbie joined them 😂 #TakeThat #xfactor yes street cred is gone. Cringe.', sic and 'ROBBIE WITH TAKE THAT WHAT A TREAT #XFactor'.

Dalton performed 'Power Of Love' with 2012 winner James Arthur, Scarlett worked with Leona Lewis to record a version of 'One More Sleep', whilst Anthony performed 'I Predict A Riot' with Kaiser Chiefs star Ricky Wilson.

We recently caught up with some of the previous contestants on The X Factor and asked them what advice they would give to this year's finalists. Previous winner, James Arthur told us that his advice is very clichéd, but it would be, "be yourself' and 'follow your heart".

We also caught up with Olly Murs who was a runner up in 2009 who said, that the finalists need to have their own luck, as well as having great work-ethic. The singer, who is going on an arena tour in 2019, also revealed if you have the talent and "tick all of the boxes" you have a chance.
