He's showed off his skills and he is one of the favourites to win this year's Dancing On Ice, but it appears that Love Island's Wes Nelson is human just like the rest of us...as he suffered a 'really bad fall' in training.

Wes, who split from his girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson last week, took to his Instagram to reveal the extent of his injuries to his fans. Sharing a picture of his bruised knee, Wes wrote, 'The @world_record_egg Long lost brother!' sic

The injury occurred when Wes was reportedly practicing the dangerous, yet iconic Headbanger move. Thankfully, the star was only practicing with a weight when he suffered the fall, and not his partner Vanessa.

The 20-year-old isn't letting it keep him down as he has prompted fans to tune in on Sunday to watch 'the full slow mo footage'.

He wrote on his Instagram Story, 'Took a really bad fall today in training, don't miss dancing on ice on Sunday for the full slo mo footage'. sic

Despite the fall, reports suggest he will perform alongside partner Vanessa Bauer on Sunday night's show.

Meanwhile, in other Dancing On Ice news, it has been confirmed that Gemma Collins WILL perform on Sunday night's show, despite THAT fall...which left her with some very painful looking injuries.

Fans will be keen to see which celebrity leaves this week after Grease star Didi Conn was the third contestant to be eliminated on Sunday night's show.

Dancing On Ice continues every Sunday night at 6pm.
