When is Waterloo Road back on TV?
Bosses announced earlier this year that Waterloo Road would return for a 14th and 15th series, with Absolute Radio presenter Jason Manford joining the cast as brand new headteacher Mr Savage.
Speaking about his upcoming new role, Jason said: āWhat an absolute treat it is to join the cast and crew of Waterloo Road, right here in my home city of Manchester. My kids and I binged the show on iPlayer during lockdown. Itās such a brilliant, iconic show, so Iām dead proud to now be part of its history. Growing up, I always wanted to be a teacher and now becoming a headteacher, I know I would have been terrible!"
Series 14 landed on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Tuesday 10th September.
Filming has also wrapped on series 15, which will air early in 2025.
It's not yet known when series 16 and 17 will hit our screens, but filming is set to take place in the coming months in Greater Manchester.
