Belfast rooftop bar throwing the ultimate Love Island finale party

The final episode of the eight-week reality TV series will be broadcast live from the villa in Mallorca and Belfast's highest open rooftop bar The Perch are planning a live screening.

"To celebrate the end of another amazing summer of love, The Perch is hosting our very own Love Island finale viewing party on 29th July from 8.30pm; because the only thing better than watching the show is watching it with other fans.

We'll be showing the finale on our big screen, and will be dishing up our very own Love Island themed alcoholic slush puppies!"

What is the prize for winning for Love Island?

It’s thought the format for Love Island will remain unchanged for series five and see contestants coupling up and re-coupling each week in the hope of finding love and making it to the live final.

The winning couple will then be in with a chance of winning £50,000. Each winning individual will have to decide whether to split the £50 equally or take the top prize all for themselves. If both winners decide to take the money for themselves, no one will win it. If both decide to split, each person will take home £25,000.

Who won Love Island 2018?

That'd be Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham. Laura Anderson and Paul Knops were runners-up, with Josh Denzel and Kaz Crossley coming third.

Unfortunately, all couples from the 2018 series have now split, with Dani Dyer now back with her ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmece, and Jack Fincham signing up for Celebs Go Dating

You can still apply for Love Island

Despite the show being on our TV screens as we speak, Love Island 2019 applications are still OPEN. Keen to top last year's series (no mean feat), producers started their search extra early this time round and they are still looking for late entries.

If you fancy yourself as the next Megan Barton-Hanson, head over to the ITV2 site and fill out the form. According to the site, applications close on 15th July 2019
