Strictly fans call for Len Goodman to RETURN after decision to send home Catherine Tyldesley
Viewers were left in tears!
Halloween Week on Strictly Come Dancing certainly brought some drama! Not only was Will Bayley forced to miss the show due to an injury, professional dancer Kevin Clifton had to step in last minute for Neil Jones, and Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley was left in tears as she lost her place on the show.
After Michelle Visage topped the leaderboard with her Addams Family inspired routine, the public vote put both Catherine and news presenter Mike Bushell in the bottom two, with both impressing in the dance-off.
With Craig Revel Horwood deciding to keep Mike in the competition, and Motsi Mabuse and Bruno Tonioli voted for Catherine to stay, the deciding vote was down to head judge Shirley Ballas.
Much to the shock of viewers, Shirley decided to keep Mike and his partner Katya on the show, sending home an emotional Catherine and Johannes.
Following the emotional result, viewers across the country called for former judge Len Goodman to return, due to the 'shocking' decisions by the current panel. Len appeared as head judge on the show between 2004-2016, before making the decision to leave the panel.
One user wrote on Twitter, ''Come back Len Goodman! The scoring has been all over the place this series. Totally inconsistent. Watch for them over scoring Mike again next week to justify keeping him in this week #Strictly.' sic
Another added, ''The judges on strictly need replacing ASAP. Bring back Len. Shambles of a show. #Strictly.' sic
A third angry viewer wrote, 'Just found out len goodman does dancing with the stars , why couldn’t he stay with the og version of the show, i thought he said he retired 🤦♂️😭'. sic

Meanwhile, following her shock exit, Catherine has now taken to social media to share a very emotional and inspiration post to her fans.
Posting a photo of herself and professional partner Johannes backstage, the actress revealed how Strictly has brought back her confidence, writing, 'My husband @tompitfield7 took this picture when we had a good cry afterwards. Tears of joy and appreciation for each other. I love this man so much.
'WHAT a journey!! Thankyou all for your messages, your love and support. Thankyou Bbc for this opportunity.
'When I started my #Strictly journey my confidence was low. My belief in what I could achieve on the show was extremely low. The expectations on my humble body - beyond low. What @johannesradebe gave me was priceless. Confidence ,Belief, Love- and Laughter beyond words!
'This man is a gift to the world. If there were more people like him the world would be spectacular (with shed loads of #Sas!) He taught me how to walk in high heels, he taught me how to ‘own it’... he taught me to love and appreciate what my body could achieve.
'I’m often low on body confidence- but I’m so proud of the limits that I’ve thoroughly pushed on this wonderful journey. I did it for me. I also did it for the hundreds of mums out there who felt they’d lost a little bit of themselves, the women out there who’d become negative about their body. The women who found it hard to look in the mirror and love what they saw.
'I’m proud of my body and my mind for getting me through this wonderful but incredibly tough experience. Push your limits ladies and be grateful for everything you’re wonderful body can achieve. ‘Dance like NOBODY is watching.' sic
