Rory McIlroy surprises fans featuring in new Netflix series 'Full Swing'

Golf fans around the world will be excited to watch Netflix's latest addition to their sports documentary catalogue - Full Swing.
The team behind the must-see Formula 1 Drive To Survive series, followed players of the 2022 PGA TOUR, for the first time ever.
A synopsis of the show reads: "The cameras will follow golf’s biggest events for the first time ever including THE PLAYERS, the Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, U.S. Open, The Open Championship and the FedExCup Playoffs.
"The documentary will give fans a chance to get to know the players through their wins and losses and witness what it takes to compete – and succeed – at the highest level in men’s professional golf throughout the PGA TOUR season."
Top names like Tony Finau, Tommy Fleetwood, Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson and Ian Poulter will feature. Irish golfers Shane Lowry and Séamus Power are also expected to form part of the series.
Netflix surprised fans dropping a first look trailer this afternoon, which includes our very own Rory McIlroy.
Rory McIlroy has won the Canadian Open, Tour Championship and CJ Cup in an impressive 2022; The world No 1 topped the FedExCup standings and DP World Tour rankings in the same year for the first time in his career.

Rory closes the trailer saying: "If I want the game that I love to be played by future generations, the game needs to be pushed forward."
Full Swing will land on Netflix Wednesday 15th February.
