My Mum, Your Dad stars Roger Hawes and Janey Smith won the hearts of viewers after finding love on the popular ITV dating show, which was hosted by Davina McCall.

Roger was nominated for the show by his daughter Jess, whilst Janey's son William put her forward. Roger was sadly widowed, with his wife dying from melanoma 18 months prior to the show.

The pair struck up a connection on the show and have since been in a relationship, making the distance work with Roger being based in Derbyshire and Janey living in West Sussex.

Now, the couple are looking forward to the future, as well as enjoying the special milestone of celebrating their first Christmas together. Speaking to OK! Magazine, Roger and Janey revealed that they will be spending Christmas Day with their families, before meeting up on Boxing Day at Roger's home in Chesterfield.

It will also mean that Janey's son William will get to meet Roger's family for the first time. Discussing his gift ideas, Roger admitted: "I am terrible. I am that Christmas Eve person, thinking, 'Why haven't I done it?' I always have a panic. Janey, what do you want for Christmas?"

Janey replied: "I've got an idea what I'll get you!"

The pair also discussed the future, revealing that they would love to travel, and that marriage might be on the cards. Roger said: "I would definitely get married again. I enjoyed being married, it worked for me."

Explaining that she would also like to get married one day, Janey added: "I've never been married so I would, yeah. I think most girls dream of that, don't they? I always thought I would be married by Jess' age.

"Life is short and you just want to have happy experiences and happy times. We're very blessed."
