MAFS UK viewers in shock as April 'cheats' on husband George on honeymoon

We may only be three episodes into the 2022 series of Married At First Sight UK, but already the E4 show is serving up some serious drama!
After witnessing the weddings of Chanita and Jordan, Whitney and Duka, Adrian and Thomas, and April and George during the first two showings, Wednesday night's (31st August) episode was the turn of the luxury honeymoons.
And whilst it had looked like there was an early connection between 32-year-old April Banbury and 40-year-old George Roberts, dress designer April seemed to have doubts when they jetted off to Jamaica, asking the financial advisor to give her some space.
However, what happened next left both George and viewers at home in complete shock...
Despite the couple agreeing they were going to hit the reset button and begin their journey again, George was later alluded to an 'incident' involving April and a female hotel guest.
Speaking to the cameras, George emotionally said: "I woke up this morning numb and cold, we had a lovely evening, I later came back and realised there had been an incident. I don't know if I feel comfortable doing this. It was heartbreaking and a massive kick in the teeth, she’d been intimate with someone else. I’ve been cheated on."
April, who was crowned Ms Great Britain back in 2020, later showed up to George's door, keen to know why her husband had stormed off.
After explaining his reasons, April said of her behaviour: "We were just having fun! Playing dares and stuff."
Later speaking direct to the cameras, April added: "I thought most guys would be happy, two girls kissing in a hot tub."
Going on to apologise to her husband, April added: "I’m really sorry if it has upset you but I didn’t even think anything of it, it really was nothing, it wasn’t."
George added: "I guess it hurts a bit because I’ve developed feelings for you.
"I know it wasn’t intentional for you to make me feel that way. I’m sorry for walking off."

Despite seemingly patching things up with a hug, viewers don't have much hope for April and George's relationship.
As revealed on Tuesday night's episode, George is a dad-of-four, with April admitting she doesn't think she wants kids.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: '#MAFSUK what happened with George and April is exactly why they shouldn't have been paired together. George is looking at her as the potential mother of his children, she is thinking she's on a club 18/30. Ppl with kids are often on another page, as they have others to consider.' (sic)
Another wrote: 'April and George just need to end it atp #MAFSUK', with a third writing: 'April didn’t like George from the moment he said he has 4 kids so it’s not a surprise she found attention elsewhere, if anything it shows she’s still immature and untrustworthy, run the other way George #MAFSUK'. (sic)
