Love Island fans insist Uma will 'regret' leaving villa with Wil
She followed her partner out the door!
With the fall out from Casa Amor and Movie Night still very much rife in the Love Island villa, bosses wasted no time in chucking more wood on the fire, sending in two brand new bombshells in the form of Reuben Collins and Josh Sunday Oyinsan.
Reuben and Josh wasted no time in cracking on with Uma Jammeh and Mimii Ngulube, with a shock recoupling on Tuesday night's (9th July) show sending shockwaves through the villa.
Whilst Josh chose to couple up with single girl Mimii, Reuben decided to steal Uma from Wil Anderson, who was in the process of trying to win back Uma following his behaviour at Casa. Following the steal, Wil received a text to reveal he was now single and therefore had been dumped from the villa, much to the shock of the Islanders.
HOWEVER, the biggest shock of the night was still to come, with Uma immediately declaring she was going to sensationally quit the show and leave alongside Wil.
After witnessing Uma's decision, viewers of the show were quick to express their thoughts about her deciding to leave with the man who behaved so badly during Casa Amor.
One wrote: 'And sad thing is he wouldn't even leave with her if it was the other way round', with another adding: 'Can’t believe she’s given up this experience for a man who said he can do what he wants on a lad’s holiday… Uma girl ðŸ˜'. (sic)
Another wrote: 'He wouldn’t have left if it was the other way round.. my hearts breaking her she’s too kind', with another writing: 'Why didn't Will tell her he would wait for her enjoy the experience.... you can do better Uma xx'.
Another added: 'NOOO, Uma is going to regret that'. (sic)
Speaking to bosses after her exit, Uma said: "It’s a bittersweet feeling, I made such amazing friendships in the Villa that it started to feel like home but I’m happy to be leaving as I wouldn’t have wanted to stay and not be genuine to myself and my feelings for Wil."
Wil added: "It didn’t happen the way I expected, but I couldn’t be happier. I left with the girl I went in to get. She’s amazing and her leaving proves how much she likes me, so it’s the next step in our journey together."
Summarising his Love Island journey, he then declared: "The most amazing journey ever. I’ve met friends for life and left with a potential wife"
Check out the Love Island rules below:
No getting drunk
According to 2017 contestant Kem Cetinay, contestants are allowed one small glass of wine or beer a night with dinner.
Being drunk's an absolute no-no, so sex while intoxicated is obviously against the rules too.
No masturbating
No solo sex acts are allowed in the villa, though obviously allowed to get jiggy with their partner.
No nudity
Contestants cannot be naked in front of other islanders, since the villa is technically a public space.
No books, phones or magazines
The islanders are given snazzy phones from their sponsor, Samsung (what else would they get their texts on?); but anyone sneaking their own mobile phone into the villa would risk being removed.
Same goes for books and magazines, too.
No inappropriate language or behaviour
This could cover homophobic, racist or aggressive language and is quite the broad rule. Inappropriate behaviour is again at producers' discretion, and would include violence and sexual harassment.
No discriminating against staff
Any Islanders who are rude to crew could run the risk of being booted off the show, and contestants must NOT take their mic packs off unless instructed to.
Follow the rule book
Simple. Contestants must obey the rule book they're provided with; which includes information on safe sex, consent and how to know if you're following the guidelines.
Despite his head turning during Casa Amor, it sounds like Wil has realised his true feelings towards Uma,
He told bosses: "I went in and I was blown away by her. I had my eyes on her from before I went in there. We got talking and instantly I knew that was who I wanted, I didn’t even want to entertain anything with anyone else. She’s so mature and well spoken and is a proper woman.
"It went so well, but then obviously Casa came. I felt like I owed it to myself to explore, doing that caused a few issues but it made me realise I wanted a future with Uma. Coming back to the Villa wasn’t exactly easy and from then on it was about proving to her how I really felt. I feel like I tried to prove it in as many ways I could . I feel like what I did and said to her was enough for her to end her journey with me, it makes me feel amazing, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome to be honest. I’ve been in there for 3 and a half weeks and I’ve left with a girlfriend pretty much."
Do you think these two will last on the outside?
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2/STV2.
