Love Island's Shaughna admits she has feelings for Luke M 😍
She had her heart broken by Callum
Last updated 12th Feb 2020
After getting her heart broken in two by scaffolder Callum Jones when his head turned over at Casa Amor, Love Island viewers had high hopes for Shaughna Phillips when new bombshell Jamie Clayton arrived, but it looks like she has her eyes on another boy!
Despite Demi Jones sharing a kiss with Justin Bieber lookalike Luke M on last night's show, on tonight's episode (Wednesday 12th February), Shaughna expresses she has feelings for him to her fellow Islanders.
Speaking to Mike Boateng, Shaughna says, “Do you know who I do get along with? Luke M…”
Mike says, “He’s a cool guy. Do you think you could possibly go there?”, before Shaughna replies, "I don’t know.”
She then adds, “I think since Jamie has come into the villa and been chatting to me and what not, it’s made me realise some things. I think I might have some feelings for Luke M…”
After Mike informs official couple Paige Turley and Finn Tapp about Shaughna's feelings, the couple pull her for a chat later in the episode, with Shaughna admitting, “When things didn’t work out with Natalia, I was a little bit like, yessss…”
Paige asks, “Why would you not stand up and be counted?”
Shaughna replies, “Because I love Demi.”
Paige then admits, “You know Demi, she’s going to be understanding. You need to say to Demi first before you say to Luke… you’ve got nothing to lose.”
OMG! 👀 Could we see another new couple?!
Check out all of the Love Island villa rules contestants must follow:
No getting drunk
According to 2017 contestant Kem Cetinay, contestants are allowed one small glass of wine or beer a night with dinner.
Being drunk's an absolute no-no, so sex while intoxicated is obviously against the rules too.
No masturbating
No solo sex acts are allowed in the villa, though obviously allowed to get jiggy with their partner.
No nudity
Contestants cannot be naked in front of other islanders, since the villa is technically a public space.
No books, phones or magazines
The islanders are given snazzy phones from their sponsor, Samsung (what else would they get their texts on?); but anyone sneaking their own mobile phone into the villa would risk being removed.
Same goes for books and magazines, too.
No inappropriate language or behaviour
This could cover homophobic, racist or aggressive language and is quite the broad rule. Inappropriate behaviour is again at producers' discretion, and would include violence and sexual harassment.
No discriminating against staff
Any Islanders who are rude to crew could run the risk of being booted off the show, and contestants must NOT take their mic packs off unless instructed to.
Follow the rule book
Simple. Contestants must obey the rule book they're provided with; which includes information on safe sex, consent and how to know if you're following the guidelines.
Meanwhile, in other Love Island news, it was revealed today that the Summer edition of the series will be cut to six weeks from the usual eight!
