Love Island fans baffled at 'hypocrite' Maura Higgins' comments
She wasn't happy with Elma!
We aren't going to lie, the first two weeks of this year's Love Island were feeling a little bit dull (compared to previous years anyway), but since Irish bombshell Maura Higgins entered the villa alongside Essex girl Elma Pazar, drama has been through the roof every night!
After coming in late and immediately expressing her interest in Tommy Fury, much to the annoyance of Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy admitted his head had been turned 560 degrees, giving him a very tough choice during Sunday night's recoupling.
Much to the joy of most of the nation, Tommy decided to follow his gut, coupling up with Molly-Mae and in turn sending Maura on dates with new boys Tom Walker and Jordan Hames.
On last night's (Monday 17th June) episode, Maura revealed she was completely over Tommy, setting her sights on new boy Tom, but she was less than impressed when Elma also confessed she fancied the model.
As Maura revealed to Lucie she felt mugged off that Elma also likes the new boy, viewers were quick to slam the 28-year-old, calling her a 'hypocrite' after she actively tried to hook up with Tommy whilst he was coupled with Molly-Mae.
Taking to Twitter, Love Island viewers seemed baffled at Maura's comments...
Despite Maura's actions, the ring girl does have a lot of fans, with many expressing their delight when she wasn't dumped following Sunday night's recoupling. One fan wrote, 'Y’all coming for Maura like she’s not bringing the drama. I know she’s annoying but listen she’s bringing it. #loveisland'. sic
