Love Island: Luca's family release apology for his behaviour towards Gemma
His reaction to Movie Night left fans confused

After receiving online backlash following his reaction to Gemma Owen's innocent chat with Billy Brown, the family of Love Island star Luca Bish have now released an apology on his behalf.
Luca, who has been coupled up with Gemma for the majority of the show, was left fuming during Sunday night's (17th July) episode when footage of Gemma and Billy having a number of chats was shown during the infamous Movie Night.
Speaking to the boys after seeing the footage, Luca said: "Just bring me a f--king bird in and watch. Trust me when I say, if she wants to f--king play games with me, I'll play with it.
"I can't be with someone like that, I'm sorry."
After seeing the online backlash, Luca's family who are looking after his social media accounts in his absence, took to his Instagram Story to share an apology.
It read: 'I want to apologise on behalf of Luca for his insensitive reaction on last night's episode. I know that when he watches it back, he will be embarrassed and deeply apologetic. We as his family don't condone his behaviour last night, but we do understand he is in an intense environment where his emotions are heightened. Last night was not reflective of the boy we all know and love at home.' (sic)
Despite their argument during Sunday night's show, Luca and Gemma cleared the air on Monday night, with 19-year-old Gem declaring to the villa she 'loved' Luca during the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge.
However, with another dumping looming, fans of the show are now convinced fishmonger Luca will find himself in the bottom two, following his behaviour towards Gemma, and his harsh words towards fellow Islander Tasha Ghouri on last night's show.

Single girl Danica coupled up with model Josh, bringing him back into the main villa.
Chyna and Jay
Single boy Jay also seemingly found a connection with new girl Chyna.
Luca and Gemma
These two are getting stronger and stronger and once again recoupled.
Ekin-Su and Davide
Despite their explosive row a number of weeks ago, it's been clear that Ekin-Su and Davide still have some chemistry, with Ekin-Su deciding to couple up with the Italian.
Paige and Jacques
Paige and Jacques were reunited after her week with Jay.

Despite their argument following the heart rate challenge, Tasha chose to couple up with Andrew.

As well as Joel Corry appearing to treat the Islanders to a DJ set, host Laura Whitmore also makes an appearance, saying: “Hello Islanders, how are you all doing? Having a good time? I am not here to join in on the fun sadly and I am afraid the party is over, could you all please line up by the pool.”
