Amy quit the villa so he could find happiness

It had looked like Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart would be the strongest couple to come out of Love Island 2019... That was until the ballroom dancer had his head turned during Casa Amor week, leaving poor Amy heartbroken.

After making the tough and brave decision to leave the Love Island villa, Amy has since made her feelings clear about Curtis' relationship with Maura Higgins, and revealed she would like him to contact her as the pair are 'friends'.

Well, before he headed back to the UK alongside Maura, Curtis told OK Online, “I will be talking to Amy when I do get my phone back. I just want to check on Amy, and check she’s OK."

He was later full of praise for Amy, adding, “Amy’s a fantastic young lady, but Maura has brought out a great side to me and I can’t wait to spend time with her."

After Amy left the villa, Maura made her feelings clear for Curtis, but the dancer was torn between the Irish beauty and Francesca Allen. After getting to know both girls, Curtis chose to couple up with Maura, with the pair going from strength to strength ever since.

As well as looking after a 'baby' in this year's baby challenge, the pair also met each other's parents, before enjoying their spectacular final date on the show.

Despite this, Curtis and Maura finished in fourth place during Monday (29th July) night's final, behind India Reynolds and Ovie Soko, runners-up Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, and winners Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea.

TOMMY STOLE LUCIE FROM JOE

After surfer girl Lucie coupled up with Joe on the first episode of the series, things seemed to get off to a good start... before Tommy entered hours later.

Tommy chose to couple up with Lucie, stealing her from poor Joe. He said in the Beach Hut, "At the moment the girl I want to pursue is going to be Lucie. She's a surfer, she goes to the gym. Her body is banging. She has beautiful eyes, a beautiful face, beautiful everything."
