Craig David has announced he is set to enter the Love Island villa this Sunday to perform his latest single 'When You Know What Love Is'.
And for all you Craig David fans, here on Downtown Radio, we're playing Craig's latest summer anthem at 8am on Monday morning!
After announcing the news on ITV's Good Morning Britain, Craig took to Twitter (5th July) to spread the exciting news further, with the singer writing, 'Excited to be on @LoveIsland this Sunday for the @ministryofsound party this year ♥️🌴 I'll be bringing the @TS5 vibes and performing my new single When You Know What Love Is ✨'.
Speaking to Kate Garraway on the breakfast programme, the 38-year-old said his latest hit is all about love, inspired by his favourite romantic films, which makes the song perfect for the Love Island villa.
He commented, “Do you know what, When You Know What Love Is, I know I keep going back to the song, but that song is all about Serendipity, one of my favourite movies, Love Actually, The Holiday.
"When those moments align, they align. Love is not an idea, it’s just something you feel intrinsically".
