Love Island fans react to BRUTAL twist just days before the final

One couple must be dumped

Love Island fans have taken to Twitter, following a shock twist in last night's (26th July) epsiode, which revealed one couple will be dumped on Sunday night (28th July), just ONE day before the final. This means their chance of winning the show will be axed, as well as the chance to win £50,000!

After Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague got back from their stunning date, which placed them into a real life Beauty and The Beast scenario, the Islanders couldn't believe what happened next, when Belle Hassan recieved a suprising text.

It read, “Islanders. Tonight, each couple must secretly vote for one other couple that they think should be dumped from the Island. You must now discuss in your couples who you’re going to choose and why, before submitting your decision by text".

Shocked by the latest twist, Tommy said, "My emotions have drastically changed, I'm not going to lie", whilst Belle agreed, adding, "Wow, that's rude".

The couples then went off to vote, torn with which friends to vote off the show - most likely their hardest decision to date.

After the show's narrator Iain Stirling revealed the results, that Anton Danyluk and Belle, India Reynolds and Ovie Soko and Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard were in the bottom three having got the most votes, it was then time for the public to vote to save one of those couples.

Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea and Tommy and Molly-Mae received no votes from their fellow Islanders.

And fans were NOT happy about this! One took to Twitter to write, 'SO close to the final and they get rid of a couple, gutted!', whilst another wrote, 'BYE I’M NOT WAITING TILL SUNDAY'. sic

Whilst a dumping looms, the Islander's families will also be heading into the villa on Sunday's night's episode and we have SO many questions. Will Tamar Hassan enter the villa? Will boxer Tyson Fury surprise Tommy? And will Anton's mum still be as iconic as she was on Love Island: Aftersun?

We'll just have to wait and see!

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm.
