Tensions rise on I'm A Celeb as Boy George dubs Charlene 'controlling'

Boy George isn't happy!

We may only be four days into the 2022 series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, but with the shock exit of Olivia Atwood, the arrival of Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh, and Babatunde Aleshe facing his fears, it's been non-stop since Sunday's launch.

But whilst we all wait in anticipation to see former health secretary Matt take on the gruelling trials, it's tension between Boy George and Loose Women star Charlene White which is providing the drama so far.

Charlene has taken on the role of head chef in camp, much to the annoyance of a number of celebs, including Boy George and Scarlette Douglas, and on Tuesday night's show, tension started to rise.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, the 'Karma Chameleon' singer said: 'It's so weird, that food bag comes down and Charlene just turns into an entirely different person.

"It's amazing, she issues orders and tells everyone what to do. I'm like, 'Wow'. You know, it's like, 'Who are you?'

"Charlene she just issues orders. For me as an observer of my own feelings, it's mind blowing."

During a conversation with Scarlette after dinner, Boy George said to the Place In The Sun host: “I just feel like Charlene’s very controlling. She tells you what to do and it really rubs you up the wrong way. I’m struggling with that, but I’ll get over it.

"It’s fine, she’s very sweet as well so it’s a real contradiction. There’s this controlling side and then there’s this caring side and it confuses me.”

Later on in the show, Scarlette seemingly dropped a major hint she'd like to have a go in the kitchen, asking Charlene if the camp could change roles.
