Hollyoaks spoilers: Tony Hutchinson stops taking his medication

Will Edward's betrayal finally come to light?

You'd think that after being held captive by Breda McQueen that Tony Hutchinson had been through enough but of course not, this is Hollyoaks.

Since returning to the village his dad Edward Hutchinson has been plotting to split Tony and Diane Hutchinson up.

Despite Edward and Diane's affair coming to light, Tony forgave her and appeared that things were on the right track.

Until Edward swapped his pills and Tony is none the wiser but next week it looks like the sinister resident's gag is finally up when Tony decides to stop taking them...

Meanwhile Toby Faroe and Celeste Faroe discover the truth about their childhood and are furious - how will they get revenge?

Verity Hutchinson returns to the village and Sami Maalik is clearly in love, Marnie Nightingale struggles following her fallout with Juliet Quinn and Cindy Cunningham makes plans for Luke Morgan's birthday.

Hollyoaks spoilers: Monday 27 - Tuesday 28 April 2020

The week begins with Tony and Diane being interrupted by Verity who was unaware of her dad's departure. Tony invites her to stay with them but she reveals that she's planning on staying in the village for good.

She then asks James Nightingale to go into partnership with her. Later, Verity promises Tony and Diane that Edward has a good heart – just as Tony takes more tampered pills.

Sami asks Verity out for a drink but she insists that she's too busy – however it quickly becomes clear that he still has feelings for her.


When Sami discovers Verity and James plan to start a new law firm, he asks if he can become a partner too.

She then sets him a challenges and tells him if he can find the perfect epi-centric premises for the new venture then she'll consider his proposition.

Diane worries that Tony is taking on too much but he's just ecstatic to be feeling happy again. However he soon becomes concerned about his new pills – he's unaware that Edward swapped them – and decides to stop taking them.

Verity sets her sights on Donovan's salon and makes Grace Black an offer, but it's up to Courtney Campbell to make the final decision.

Toby is fuming when his sister tells him that they were sold as babies.

Celeste is convinced that Martine Deveraux knew nothing about it but Toby is full or rage and storms out. Celeste is worried he'll do something stupid...

Martine confronts Walter Deveraux about keeping the secret from her. He tries to explain but will she listen to him and forgive him?

Felix Westwood is stunned when it dawns on him that everyone knows what he did, so he tries to appeal to Lisa Deveraux.

Marnie returns to work following her fall out with Juliet but James notices that it's still playing on her mind.

Meanwhile Luke's birthday is fast approaching and Cindy prepares to pull out all the stops for his big day.

As Hollyoaks is only airing on Mondays and Tuesdays during the rest of the week, viewers will be able to take a look back at classic Hollyoaks episodes on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Next Wednesday fans will get to watch the carpark roof showdown between Nancy Osborne and Sienna Blake.

Panic stricken and with nowhere to hide, Nancy makes a gobsmacking decision with tragic consequences. Meanwhile Tony is devastated as the effects of chemotherapy begin to take hold.

On Thursday Channel 4 are showing the iconic moment Nancy Osborne revealed Sienna Blake’s pregnancy bump.

Friday’s episode will take a look back at Cleo McQueen battling her bulimia during the build-up to her wedding to and Joel Dexter.
