Hollyoaks spoilers: Monday 20 – Friday 24 January 2020

The week starts on Jesse and Courtney's wedding day. When Liam gives Jesse their brother Adam's cufflinks they both fondly remember their brother.

Jesse doesn't want to say goodbye to another sibling so he makes Liam and Grace Black promise that there will be no more secrets and lies in their family.

Meanwhile James prepares to confess to the police that he's responsible for shooting Mercedes McQueen and writes a letter to Romeo and Juliet Quinn.

However when Grace realises what he's planning she convinces him not to go to the police before making a pact – that they never speak about the shooting again.

However they're unaware that Jesse has overheard their conversation… At the wedding, while Jesse is saying his vows he promises to only surround Courtney and Iona Campbell with goodness and to never let the darkness in.

They're unaware that Jesse has overheard their conversation… While Jesse is saying his vows he promises to only surround Courtney and Iona with goodness and to never let the darkness in.

Later, Courtney's alarm clock - for her honeymoon - wakes her up but she's left confused when she realises Jesse hasn't come to bed…

With the help of Leela Lomax, they ask Liam to find out where his brother is. Meanwhile once again, Grace warns James to keep quiet about them shooting Mercedes.

Elsewhere in the village, Azim and Scott arrange another date before sharing a kiss – they're unaware that Mitchell has seen them together.

When Mitchell accuses Scott of using Azim to make him jealous, Scott stands up to his ex-boyfriend and is quick to put him in his place.

At home Martine Deveraux tries to help Mitchell but he takes his frustration out on her. Later she asks him why he's been so unhappy and begs him to confide in her.

Mitchell plucks up the courage and finally comes out as gay. A supportive Martine tells Mitchell that life is too short to not go for what you want.

After Scott and Azim come clean to Mitchell about their budding relationship, he decides to go on a date with a man.

Meanwhile John Paul McQueen helps Sally St. Claire at the school and is happy to be back – especially when he helps Juliet out.

Unfortunately things get awkward when James arrives to take Juliet for lunch and it quickly dawns on Juliet that her new teacher is the 'famous John Paul'.

Following their conversation John Paul is left wondering when they're going out for drinks.

Donna Marie Quinn and Marnie Nightingale clash over what's best for Juliet… Later when Juliet walks in as James is mysteriously giving Donna Marie an envelope of cash, she questions what's going on.

Damon offers to treat Maxine to some lunch – determined to put a smile back on her face. Elsewhere Liam breaks into Maxine's flat.

While there it dawns on him how much she's struggling for money. He offers to give her a loan and thinks of a way he can use her to his advantage.

Before any of the above, here's everything that will happen in Hollyoaks this week...

It's been a while since we last saw Warren Fox in the village but he's finally back after kidnapping his twins.

After Sienna receives an anonymous text message she heads down to the closed salon and is furious when she spots her ex Warren.

She instantly flies at him in anger after he ruined her life, but he manages to stop her from doing any real damage by confessing something has happened to their son Sebastian.

However, later on in the week she realises that the twins she tried to abduct at Maxine and Damon's wedding really were her children and she's forced to channel her cold and calculating Sienna...

Elsewhere, Tony Hutchinson is back in the village but struggles getting back into his usual routine after being locked up for months by Breda McQueen.

Also James Nightingale begins to feel guilty about shooting Mercedes McQueen - especially after the truth comes out about Harry Thompsons death.
