Hollyoaks spoilers: Darren Osborne battles his depression – will anyone notice?

The week begins with Darren trying to occupy his mind by switching from one unfinished project to another. However his friends and family begin to get annoyed with his obsessive behaviour.

Darren puts on a brave face and promises Mandy that the old Darren is back. But when he's left in the flat alone, it quickly becomes clear that he's not coping.

Luke Morgan and Kyle try to help Darren get through the day and it appears to work. Until Darren is left alone and the darkness begins to descend.

When Mandy arrives home, Darren pretends he's asleep. Elsewhere Kyle is excited about potentially getting married in 10 weeks but when it dawns on him that Nancy doesn't share the same excitement, he's left hurt.

Darren has been on the couch in his PJs all day. When Mandy tries to get him to get dressed for the open-mic night, he tells her he's not up for it.

Mandy opens up to Nancy Osborne, Cindy, Luke and Kyle about her concerns and following their conversation it strikes a chord with the latter...

The next day, Darren tries to perk up for Mandy and even invites Kyle over to feed the ducks with him and DJ.

Kyle then embarrasses Nancy and after asking Jordan for some drugs and then to see if he wants to go for a drink, Kyle is left humiliated when the drug dealer laughs in his face.

Juliet is in custody after being arrested last week and tries to think of a good excuse for Jamies Nightingale and Marnie Nightingale.

While Sid tries to get Jordan Price to let Juliet off the hook, she tries to keep her family from discovering that she's been selling drugs.

Jordan makes it clear that he doesn't intend on letting Juliet go... Later, Juliet decides to tell her family the truth before the drug dealer can.

Meanwhile, Jordan asks Peri Lomax out on the date but things end in disaster when she accuses him of cheating on her.

Edward grows annoyed with Tony and Diane's PDA and decides that enough is enough - he's telling his son about their affair.

Diane worries Edward will announce their affair in front of the rest of the village but Leela Lomax urges her friend to stand up for herself.

Imran and Ollie try to think of a good idea for their environmental project before the deadline tomorrow.

The boys manage to rope Tom Cunningham in to help and they're quick to show their idea to Brooke Hathaway and Courtney Campbell - what will they think?

Mitchell is determined to find his dad despite Martine Deveraux and Walter Deveraux warning him not to.

Cindy tries stand-up comedy but when it doesn't go according to plan she ends up roasting her neighbours.

Mercedes is left worried about Liam's plans for her. Meanwhile Liam is annoyed when he discovers James is working for Warren Fox. He then orders James to keep Warren in prison or he'll tell Mercedes who really shot her.
