Hollyoaks spoilers: Monday 28 October – Friday 1 November 2019
The week begins with the Osborne family celebrating DJ's Christening. Ollie Morgan tries to find his dad Luke who is M.I.A.
When Ollie catches up with Darren he's left touched by his emotional speech about DJ – he's unaware that Luke is the baby's biological father.
The blood rushes out of Ollie's face when Darren reveals that he has invited Luke to the christening… The following day Mandy Richardson worries as she's been trying to contact her boyfriend but Darren has gone missing.
Cindy Cunningham gushes to Luke about how proud of him she is and she's over the moon when he hints they've got a future together.
Over at the pig farm and Tony is desperately hungry after being left alone for days. When Breda arrives she tells him that their friendship is over and that she needs to put him out of his misery…
However she has a change of heart after a phone call from her daughter Goldie McQueen. She decides to let Tony return home to his friends and family.
Mitchell Deveraux and Scott Drinkwell enjoy alone time together but it's not long before Cleo McQueen interrupts the pair and reveals she's on her way home.
Things get awkward between the pair when Cleo goes to kiss Mitchell but he pushes her away. Feeling insecure, Cleo uses all her strength to not cave and binge.
Mercedes McQueen offers Cleo some advice on how to get the spark back in her relationship and it leaves her feeling intrigued.
Cleo asks Mitchell to come home because she's got a sexy surprise for him but she's stunned when he doesn't react the way she thought he would. She then asks him why he finds her so repulsive.
Mitchell later confides in Scott and admits he doesn't want to sleep with Cleo because he feels like he's cheating on Anita Tinkle.
He decides to end his relationship with Cleo. At home she opens up to him and admits she's scared because she feels like she's losing him. How will she react to the breakup?
The residents in Hollyoaks are quickly made aware that Cindy's empire is being built when the diggers and cranes arrive in the village.
However the fragile tunnels underneath the village are already feeling the strain… Tom Cunningham stages a protest in hopes that Cindy will get the site checked out before they start to build on it.
Cindy begins to grow frustrated at the slow progress the builders are making. Elsewhere Charlie Dean and Ella Richardson head into the underground tunnels and moan about the mess their parents are making.
Tom continues to preach about how dangerous Cindy's plans are but she refuses to listen… Meanwhile Breda and Tony are heading back to the village but on the way she crashes into one of the cranes and it causes a crack in the village floor…
The ceiling in the underground tunnel begins to cave while Charlie and Ella are down there but they're trapped because they are not sure which way they came into the tunnel.
The villagers rally round to help an unconscious Breda. Walter Deveraux asks Tom and Darren to help him move her car.
Following the latest family drama, Luke turns back to the booze. He heads over to Price Slice for a bottle of wine but when he hears Woody (aka Jake Quickenden) saying it's too dangerous to move the crane, Luke decides to take matters into his own hands.
After Tom, Darren and Walter manage to move Breda's car into the back road, Nancy asks Darren to help out with Luke.
The residents are alarmed when Luke turns the crane on and when it quickly becomes clear that he's not in control, he calls out for Woody's help.
Luke struggles as the crane causes havoc in the village and jumps from the cabin… Woody warns Cindy that the crane is sinking into the tunnels.
After overhearing their conversation, Walter tells Darren and Nancy that he saw Charlie and Ella heading underground…
A steel girder falls into the village and it forces Mandy to the ground. Elsewhere Mitchell and Anita Tinkle sneak into the florist – they're unaware of the danger around.
When the pair hear the commotion and spot the emergency services they try to get out of the florist but the door is jammed – will they manage to escape in time?
Sienna Blake and Finn O'Connor are in their flats and are terrified when they look out of their windows and see how out of control the crane is.
Martine Deveraux warns Liberty Savage to shut The Emporium and tells her to get somewhere safe. Elsewhere Tom shouts at Cindy for causing all the drama.
The fire service arrive with Leela Lomax in tow, and evacuate the whole village but Ella, Charlie, Darren and Nancy are all in the tunnels.
Jack Osborne is in hospital with Breda and when Sylver McQueen hears about his mum he rushes to see her.
While Edward Hutchinson is tending to everyone injured, Mercedes is enjoying being the host at The Dog. She even offers to host Harry Thompson's wake but it leaves Grace Black furious.
Grace – who believes Harry is responsible for running her over - takes her anger out on him by ripping his funeral flowers apart. Joel Dexter steps in and stops her.
Nancy and Darren realise that no one knows they're in the tunnels. At the end of the week - in the hospital - secrets are revealed and hearts are left broken.
Before any of the above, here's everything that will happen on Hollyoaks this week...
Diane Hutchinson is devastated that her husband Tony isn't in the village and Harry's body is ready to be released. However, Tony's dad Edward arrives in the village and despite being reluctant at first, he manages to win Diane and the rest of the residents over.
Goldie McQueen grows suspicious of her mum, especially when she discovers she's been lying to her about her whereabouts. Goldie decides to take matter into her own hands and books her mum in for a session with a psychiatrist. Breda is irritated about the session and grows angry which results in her revealing too much - what will the doctors say?
Also Nancy Osborne, Mandy Richardson, Darren Osborne and Luke Morgan continue to support teenagers Brooke Hathaway and Ollie Morgan and their pregnancy.
