Hollyoaks spoilers: Breda McQueen POISONS James Nightingale

There's an attempted murder, drama with the double weddings and a pregnancy scare next week in Hollyoaks. It all kicks off with James Nightingale asking Donna-Marie Quinn to be a witness in his court case, meanwhile a furious Mac Nightingale is still planning to kill his son.
Breda McQueen tells Mac she can't kill James but then has a change of heart and puts poison in James' coffee – is this the end for him? Elsewhere in the village, Prince McQueen grows concerned for Lily McQueen and when she's left upset by Romeo Quinn she plans to self-harm again.
Cleo McQueen and Mitchell Deveraux grow closer, Mercedes McQueen and Moira McQueen have a disagreement over their double wedding and Maxine Minniver has a pregnancy scare – is she expecting?

The week begins with James asking Donna-Marie to be a witness in his court case against Mac. Breda breaks into the Cunninghams house and finds Mac's laptop but things take a turn for the worse when Donna-Marie and Mac arrive home.

He then surprises Maxine with a boy or girl balloon and a big teddy, but he's shocked when she revealed she hasn't been getting better and in fact – didn't want to burden him.
The week begins with James asking Donna-Marie to be a witness in his court case against Mac. Breda breaks into the Cunninghams house and finds Mac's laptop but things take a turn for the worse when Donna-Marie and Mac arrive home.
Later, Mac finds a knitting needle Breda has left behind in his house and confronts her. She then confesses that despite being a serial killer, she can't kill James…
The next day she has a change of heart and tells Mac she will kill James after all. Meanwhile James is preparing Cindy Cunningham for her testimony against Mac.
On the day of Mac's trial Breda puts poison in James' coffee but her plan goes awl when Juliet Quinn accidentally spills it all over his suit.
James then catches Breda sneaking into his flat but she makes up a quick lie and tells him she noticed he'd split coffee on his suit and wanted to help clean it up.
She's then left alone with his coffee…
The next day while listening to a voicemail from Harry Thompson declaring his love, James collapses. Is this the end for him?
Over to the McQueen family and Lily comes to the conclusion that she needs to move on with her life and tells Prince McQueen she wants a divorce.
When Romeo won't answer her phone calls she's left upset and it's not long before she's rummaging through her pencil case…
It seems that Lily wants to self-harm but is stopped when Prince walks in. As his concern for her grows, Lily admits she wanted to self-harm because Romeo didn't answer the phone.

Diane decides to take her daughter Lily away to Wales for a few days so they can help her find a therapist.
Meanwhile Sylver McQueen celebrates his birthday in The Dog and it's safe to say he's having the time of his life.
Elsewhere Cleo forgot the wedding favours for the huge double McQueen wedding and quickly rushes over to Price Slice to buy some party poppers.
While she's in the shop, Martine Deveraux secretly tells Mitchell to go after her. When he spots her bagging up all the wedding favours he offers to help her and invites her over to his family home.
Mitchell and Cleo continue to bond while making the wedding favours and it's not long before sparks fly. Just as they are about to kiss they're interrupted by Walter Deveraux and it's safe to say he's not happy…
Later on Goldie McQueen gets herself involved in Cleo and Mitchell's budding relationship and tell him to go as Cleo's date for the weddings.

Myra then decides to tone down the wedding so they can both be happy with their double wedding. At the end of the week, Liam Donovan sees Myra and Mercedes drunk in the village. He smirks at the pair - what's he up to?

Before any of the drama above happens, here's everything that will happen in Hollyoaks this week. Ste Hay and the Maalik family continue their feud and as tension reaches breaking point Ste is left feeling isolated. A lonely Ste turns to Jonny and Stuart – unaware that they keep aggravating his hatred for the Maalik family – and it's not long before he meets their far-right extremists' group.
Elsewhere in the village, Sally St Claire and Myra McQueen hit a rough patch, Mac Nightingale continues to secretly bully Donna-Marie Quinn, Harry Thompson and James Nightingale return to the village and Joel Dexter tries to help Liam Donovan.
