Popular TV presenter Holly Willoughby was reduced to tears on live TV yesterday (Thursday 7th February), as she was presented with an early birthday present from best friend and co-host Phillip Schofield.
Ahead of her 38th birthday on Sunday, Holly was on tenterhooks as a crew member rolled out a trolly with her present on it – a basket full of adorable Pomeranian puppies!
Overwhelmed and instantly in love, it wasn’t long before the tears started flowing for Holly, who has a history of getting emotional when around cute animals.
Sadly, the puppies weren’t to keep as Phil confirmed she would have to give them back at the end of the show.
But the Dancing On Ice presenter wasn’t about to let them go that easily, and begged producer husband Dan Baldwin to let her keep one.
“If my husband’s watching…darling please,” she implored.
Holly doesn’t have a dog (yet!) but she does two cats called Teddy and Bluebell, who regularly feature on her social media.

Holly Willoughby's Dancing on Ice outfit - Week 3
It's week three and Holly is wearing this gorgeous gown from Jenny Packham. This is probably one of the most daring outfits Holly's worn this series and we're loving it! We love the detail, embellishment and mesh on this dress and it's definitely one we want in our wardrobes.

OMG we're OBSESSED with this outfit Holly is wearing. The Dancing on Ice presenter has opted for a pink halterneck gown from Rebecca Vallance. We're loving the mermaid fit and, although you can't see it in this photo, the backless cut out and huge bow. Holly's outfit costs more than £700 but we've found a similar version for less on the high street...
To kick start Dancing on Ice 2019, Holly has opted for a black lace dress from Roland Mouret. We're loving this dress; it fits Holly's figure incredible. We're obsessed with the lace detail and the short sleeves.
Holly Willoughby's Dancing on Ice outfit - Launch Day
During the Dancing on Ice launch event Holly wore a gorgeous one shoulder red dress from Rebecca De Ravenel.
We're loving this dress and the big black bow on the shoulder, however we're not a fan of the price tag so we've found a similar version on the high street at a much cheaper price.

“Holly you definitely need to keep one they’re so adorable” sic, said another.
It comes after Holly admitted earlier this week that she has been lying to her husband Dan in order to fulfill one of her guilty pleasures!
