A Friends fan has had a major realisation about how much time has passed since the first series aired this week. Posting on Twitter, lifelong Friends fan Lorna Stone made the discovery after the actor who played Ben Geller, son of Ross Geller and his first wife Carol Willick, turned 26-years-old.
Fans of the show will remember how little Ben was played by Cole Sprouse, who now stars in TV series Riverdale, after the age of around five or six.
And here's what he looks like now, just as a reference.

But Lorna's realisation was that Cole, who celebrated his 26th birthday on Saturday (4th August), is now older than Jennifer Aniston was when she started playing Rachel Green way back in 1994 at the age of 25.
As if that wasn't enough, she also reminded us that Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller, is now older than Richard Burke, played by Tom Selleck, was when he played Monica's much-older boyfriend on the show.
Lorna wrote, 'Brace yourselves: the actor who played Ben in Friends is now older than Jennifer Aniston was at the start of the series AND Courtney Cox is now older than Richard was on the show. I’m not convinced I understand how time works anymore #mindblown.'
Of course, many other Friends fans struggled to deal with the news and took to Twitter to share their bemusement.
But there's more. The twins who played Ross and Rachel's daughter, Emma, have resurfaced as 16-year-old actors about to star in acclaimed director Jordan Peele's brand new thriller, Us, starring alongside Lupita Nyong’o, Elisabeth Moss and Winston Duke.
Cali and Noelle Sheldon portrayed little Emma as a toddler, and just celebrated their 16th birthday.
