Emmerdale spoilers: Nicola King makes a move on Mackenzie Boyd

With her marriage in tatters on Emmerdale, Mackenzie Boyd tries his chances with a vulnerable Nicola King, but he's caught off guard when she seemingly returns his attentions.

Nicola's not the only one seeking out other options, though, as Jimmy also seeks comfort in the arms of another... one Mandy Dingle, in fact.

It's the day of Jimmy's plea hearing but Nicola has forgotten all about it and when she admits that she's not going to be able to make it along to support him, it's clear the chasm between them is bigger than ever.

Seeing her marriage is in tatters, Mack once again makes a move on Nicola and tells her he's always around if she wants a shoulder to cry on. Wanted to mess with him, Nicola gets glammed up and heads over to see him at the scrapyard. What is she up to?

Abandoned by Nicola, Jimmy heads to his plea hearing with the support of Mandy, who convinces him not to plead guilty as him going to prison wouldn't solve anything. When a grateful Jimmy tells Mandy how much she means to him, how will she react?

Elsewhere, Meena is doing her best to put a stop to Charles and Andrea's relationship before it's even begun. Cornering Charles with mock concern, Meena warns him of the potential problems of Millie having another father figure in her life so soon after Andrea's marriage breakdown.

Later on, Meena is peeved when Andrea turns up at Home Farm with her dog Princess, who promptly has a poo in Meena's handbag. Later when Andrea leaves Princess tied up unattended, someone swipes her from the street and locks her in the boot of an overheating car.

Tensions between Jamie and Kim continue to simmer and when Jamie spots her security camera, Kim is forced to admit that someone's been poisoning her. Jamie is hurt to learn he's a suspect and suggests it's time they both get away from the village for a while.

At Mill Cottage, Ben's concern for Aaron is growing increasingly concerned for Aaron, tentatively suggesting that his constant worrying about Liv is taking a toll on his own health.

An exhausted Tracy is struggling to keep up with Frankie's feeding demands, and is left feeling increasingly resentful of Nate's poor efforts at supporting her. When the doctor reminds her to look after herself as well as the baby, will she be able to manage both?

For weeks, someone has been poisoning Kim Tate and after cottoning on last week, she's determined to catch them out in the best way.

With her annual formal luncheon coming up, scheming Kim concocts a sinister plan to trap her poisoner.

Aaron worries about Liv

Elsewhere, Ryan Stocks wants Mackenzie Boyd to do the right thing when he catches him meddling in Eric Pollard's business, but his pleas fall on deaf ears and soon Pollard is in grave danger.

With Bernice Blackstock back in town, Liam Cavanagh wants to establish some ground rules but precocious Bernice is quick to tread on Leyla Harding's toes.
