Emmerdale spoilers: Meena Rutla saves Rishi Sharma's life

But is all as it seems?

When Manpreet Sharma loses her phone and Rishi Sharma doesn't come home, Manpreet fears the worst and immediately heads out on a search party with her estranged sister Meena Jutla.

But when Meena plays the hero and manages to revive Rishi and effectively save his life, Rishi is full of gratitude and Manpreet is forced to admit she may have judged Meena too harshly.

But is all as it seems?

Elsewhere, Harriet Finch is horrified to spot someone at the spot where D.I Malone is buried. She soon learns the woman, Jean, is visiting the grave of her father, who's buried in the same spot, and is planning on exhuming him.

What does this mean for Harriet?

Laurel Thomas and Jai Sharma's fears are confirmed but there's worse to come when it transpires their kids have found out about their pregnancy. Elsewhere Marlon Dingle and Paddy Kirk have a wedding to plan.

Having failed to find his medication in the car, Rishi ends up crashing into a ditch and when he momentarily gains consciousness tries to call Manpreet to let her know what's happened.

But Manpreet has lost her phone, and when Rishi doesn't come home starts to worry. She and Meena head out to look for him and Meena performs first aid.

Later on Rishi is full of gratitude to Meena for saving him and Manpreet is forced to admit that maybe she judged her sister too quickly.

Meena guilt trips Manpreet for ruining her blossoming relationship with David but we soon learn Meena is responsible for Rishi's lost pills and Manpreet's lost phone...

Elsewhere, Harriet is falling apart at the guilt of what she's done to Malone but is soon distracted by a woman in the graveyard leaving flowers at his grave.

Later on Harriet's guilt leads her to speak to God but she's horrified when the woman at the grave introduces herself as Jean, who's father is buried beneath Malone's grave.

Harriet offers her sympathies for Jean's loss but is horrified when she reveals that she's planning on exhuming her father.

The next day, Harriet rings the Bishop for advice about what to do and is surprised when the Bishop says she'll pay a visit in person to discuss it.

A panicked Harriet confides in Will about what's going on, terrified exhuming Jean's dad could lead to her being incriminated.

Will is equally concerned about keeping Harriet's secret and resolves that something needs to be done. Harriet feels the weight of the world on her shoulders.

Meanwhile, the villagers are gathering at the post office when Dawn suddenly collapses, and is delivered a potentially devastating diagnosis.

Aaron overhears Paddy and Marlon excitedly conspiring about the wedding and is shocked to realise Paddy is planning on marrying his mum.

Tracy is gutted to think that Liam and Leyla are throwing their relationship away and is determined to get the couple back together.

Elsewhere, Jai and Laurel attend another doctors appointment and receive the news that their baby has Down's Syndrome.

Arriving home heartbroken, Jai and Lauren are caught off guard when Gabby, having found the scan, has gathered the kids to explain how excited they are to have another brother or sister in the family.

Feeling overwhelmed by the pressure, Laurel's upset is obvious and her friend Rhona pushes her to say what's on her mind.

Rhona eventually relents and explains about their baby's Down's Syndrome, causing Rhona to flee, furious Laurel has put her in this situation.

Later on at the park, Rhona tells Marlon what happened with Laurel and Jai as they both watch a happy Leo playing on the swings.

Marlon and Rhona discuss what joy their son Leo, who also suffers with Down's Syndrome, has brought to their lives.

But back across town, Jai and Laurel are forced to face the difficult truth of their choice as they decide to terminate their pregnancy.

After learning of their pregnancy Laurel Thomas and Jai Sharma want to keep it to themselves and are surprised to be told at a private scan they're at 13 weeks.

But their happy news is soon tainted when the doctor tells them there's a strong possibility their baby could suffer from some kind of chromosomal syndrome, and soon Laurel and Jai have a huge decision on their hands.

Harriet is in for a shock...

Elsewhere, Moira Barton thinks she could be finally winning Cain Dingle back round when she manages to seduce him on his birthday. But she's soon left stung when Cain's mood switches once more.

Meanwhile Paul Ashdale is overcome by guilt when he sees how upset Mandy Dingle is by Vinny Dingle ignoring her.

But will he risk her finding out about his gambling secret for a reconciliation?
