EastEnders spoilers: Who dies in the Thames boat disaster?

In EastEnders next week, the residents are all heading to the boat on the River Thames to celebrate the Queen Vic winning an award but it's not long before disaster strikes.

Ben Mitchell is hellbent on getting revenge on Keanu Taylor. Meanwhile Phil Mitchell also wants to get even with him - and before long all three of them have a showdown on the boat party.

Elsewhere Sharon Mitchell is pregnant, Bobby's Beale's bullying takes a horrific turn and Patrick Trueman is ready to confess all.

Plus Sonia Fowler receives some devastating news from the police, Ian Beale heads to the boat determined to get revenge on one resident and Jack Branning and Max Branning have a fight.

The week begins with a furious Ben reaching breaking point after being blackmailed by Keanu. Determined to get Callum back, Ben goes to extreme lengths to stop Keanu from killing him...

Phil is on the warpath following Keanu's latest actions and decides to take matter into his own hands by threatening Karen to find her son.

Will either of the Mitchells be able to stop a raging Keanu before it's too late?

Sharon tells Dennis Rickman that they're leaving Walford for good and when she bumps into Kathy Beale she tells her the good news.

Unfortunately Sharon's plans are ruined by a furious Ben - but what does he have planned for his step-mum?

Things then take a turn for the worse when Sharon goes into labour... elsewhere as the events begin to spiral out of control Ben and Phil's revenge plan leads them to the boat.

On the boat Ben, Phil and Keanu have the ultimate showdown and as tensions rise to an all-time high, their actions lead to disastrous consequences...

Meanwhile Mick is not in the mood to celebrate the boat party after signing the divorce papers.

Linda revels in her divorce from Mick but her celebrations come to an end after she rows with Shirley.

Shirley then decides to make amends with Linda and tries to make her see sense - that she loves Mick. But will Linda listen?

While the party gets underway, Linda continues to drink and ends up embarrassing herself and her family.

Following his wife's latest actions Mick is at a loss for words and doesn't know what to do. Is this really the end for Mick and Linda?

Patrick continues to grow annoyed with Isaac's behaviour towards him and suggest to Sheree that they tell him the truth.

Sheree disagrees but Patrick decides to ignore her and reveal all but before he has a chance the party is thrown into chaos...

Ian contemplates reaching out to Bobby after Kathy and Sharon encourage him to make amends with his son.

Bobby opens up about online bullying with Iqra Ahmed and Habiba Ahmed but when they're also harrassed by a gang - who recognise Bobby - he tries to defend them.

However when the situation quickly grows out of control, Bobby is left fighting for his life after being beaten up.

When Ian and Kathy discover what's happened, they're left devastated when it comes to light that Bobby needs emergency surgery.

When Bex spots the incident with Bobby, she's left shaken. She later tells Dotty what's happened and is shocked when Dot's granddaughter reveals who's bullying Bobby.

Following the shocking revelation, it continues to grow on Bex's mind and as she struggles with the guilt, Bex sends a text to Ian revealing who's been harassing his son.

At the hospital, Kathy tries her best to comfort Ian but when he spots Bex's text he rushes off to the party in search of revenge....

After Kathy receives a bizarre call from Ben, she phones Peter and begs him to come to the hospital to keep an eye on Bobby.

After meeting up with Ben, she's left horrified by her discovery. Elsewhere an oblivious Sonia makes an unexpected return but is stunned when the police tell her a worrying truth...

When Ian arrives on the boat he's desperate to find who is responsible for harassing Bobby - but how far is he willing to go to protect his son?

Denise suggests to Jack that they tell Max the truth - he's been helping Lauren following her split from Peter. However Max reacts badly and it's not long before Jack punches his brother...

Meanwhile Denise spots a distraught Ian and after he reveals what happened to Bobby, their conversation is cut short when disaster strikes...

Chaos and panic ensues as the residents struggle to comprehend what's happened...

As the grave situation continues to grow worse, multiple lives are left hanging in the balance and one person meets a tragic end...

EastEnders is celebrating it's 35 anniversary and next week everything that happens will all take place over the same day.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday's episode will focus on different characters and the tragic event that will lead up to the incident on the boat... Friday's episode will conclude the immediate aftermath of all the drama that's occurred.
