CHECK OUT: Coronation Street Monday 21 - Friday 25 September:
After spotting Daniel and Nicky together, Kirk confronts him and says that Beth is sick with worry about what will happen to Bertie if Daniel moves on.
Insisting that he and Nicky are just friends, Daniel tells Kirk that he's got no intention of replacing Sinead with a cheap sex worker, but Kirk isn't convinced.
And later on, Daniel meets up with Nicky and wants to know if they can move their relationship on and make a proper go of things.
Nicky is taken aback but can't deny she's falling for Daniel, especially when he suggests he could help her get away from sex work.
Later on when Geoff calls round to Adam's office looking for info on Yasmeen's case Daniel is there and makes his feelings about Geoff exploiting vulnerable escorts known.
Geoff leaves in a rage but soon returns, looking for an envelope of money he'd left behind. Daniel says he hasn't seen in, but Adam isn't so sure.
Having looked everywhere and not been able to find his cash, Geoff confronts Alya in the street and accuses her of stealing it. A suspicious Adam and a guilty Daniel look on.
Meanwhile, after finding a surgeon willing to operate on Oliver in Germany, Leanne begins to worry about how they'll afford the hefty bill.
As the whole street scrabbles together to fund raise for the trip, Nick tells Leanne that he's been looking into selling his share of Underworld.
Leanne is touched by the gesture, but little does she know that Nick has been hiding his meet up with Natasha - and his secret son.
When Steve learns the sacrifice that Nick is willing to make to help pay to save his son's life, he's determined to do something equally bold.
Steve tells Tracy that he thinks they should sell the taxi company and the florist to contribute to the surgery. Tracy is panicked.
Abi returns to Weatherfield and following their awkward encounter, meets with Peter in the ginnel behind Carla and Kevin's backs.
But soon Debbie appears and demands to know what's going on with them. Abi insists they're just friends while Peter legs it.
After the close encounter with Debbie, Peter asks Abi not to tell her she made a play for him as he doesn't want Carla finding out and getting the wrong end of the stick.
Later on, Peter is furious when Debbie corners him in the café and warns him to keep away from Abi because she's finally happy with Kevin.
Peter calls in at the garage and lays into Abi for confiding in Debbie. Abi is apologetic and Peter concedes that he appreciates having someone who understands his troubles.
Later in the week Abi has a physio appointment and books a cab to take her into town, surprised when Peter turns out to be her driver.
After Mary mentions she saw Abi and Peter drives off together, Debbie is convinced of her suspicions and breaks the news to Kevin.
When Debbie tells Kevin that Abi and Peter are having an affair, he storms round to The Rovers where he finds Abi and Kevin.
While Abi and Peter desperately try to convince them there's nothing going on, Kevin is unconvinced and Abi is forced to admit she made a stupid play at Peter.
From behind the bar, Carla watches the exchange and is depressed to think that Peter wasn't interested in a 'normal' relationship after she recovered from her breakdown.
Now let's catch up on what's happening this week...
