Imran is furious, and tells Toyah that after everything he's been through recently, things are over between them.
With Toyah left with nowhere to go, Leanne takes pity on her and tells Nick that she'll be moving in with them. Nick isn't happy after she accused him of being involved in the factory roof collapse.

Meanwhile, Nick and David are growing more unsettled about their finances as Paula goes looking for them and Leanne starts to get suspicious.
With the police breathing down their neck, Nick tells David he needs to keep Natalie sweet. Shona is furious when David comes home late from the salon stinking of beer after hanging out with Natalie.
Sensing that Natalie is after her man, Shona makes a huge show of coming into the salon to invite David for lunch and kissing him passionately in front of Natalie.
But after she's left Natalie goes in to kiss David, and David cancels his lunch with Shona.
Hearing of David and Nick's plan to use her, Natalie is hurt and arranges a date with a client, Andrew, who is a policeman and makes sure David knows her plans.
As David sits in the Bistro later that night eavesdropping on Natalie and Andrew's date, he's caught out when Natalie spots him and he's confronted by Andrew.
Andrew squares up to David and tells him he knows that he tried to kiss Natalie – just as Shona comes into the restaurant looking for David.
Meanwhile, Toyah and Leanne's suspicions about Nick escalate and they track down Rick, convinced that Nick has become involved with the Loan Shark. Rick denies even knowing him, and the sisters leave, frustrated.
Later on, Leanne calls Rick anonymously and arranges a meeting at a random location, to get him out of his office. As Toyah breaks in and roots around for evidence of Nick, she's terrified to hear someone at the door.

The boys are stunned, and as they do a runner one of them is hit by a car.
With his friends gone, the young lad, James, gets to his feet and insists he's fine, not wanting to make a fuss as he plays for the local football team and doesn't want to get in trouble.
Steve is relieved, but takes James to the taxi office anyway to check he's ok and clean him up. When they arrive Steve is shocked to find the police there again.
