Ouch!

With only four contestants remaining on this year's Dancing On Ice, last night's semi-final was always going to be a tough one to call. But in the skate-off, former Westlife singer Brian McFadden made things a little easier for the judges after falling over during his routine.

Brian, who finished bottom of the leaderboard with a combined score of 70 following his two routines, found himself in the bottom two alongside former X Factor star Saara Aalto.

And whilst Brian's routine seemed to be going well, he took a nasty tumble towards the end, resulting in him dropping his professional partner Alex Murphy on the ice.

After Saara's almost perfect performance, the Dancing On Ice judges were quick to state things would be different if Brian didn't take a tumble.

Jason Gardiner said, "Had you not have fallen Brian, this would be a very different outcome."

Brian, who has certainly brought the comedy factor to this year's show, later took his Instagram page to laugh off the fall. Sharing a photo of his mum and dad laughing alongside Jason, Brian wrote, 'That moment you drop you’re partner on dancing on ice and your biggest critics love it!!!! @thejasongardiner and my mum and dad'. sic

Meanwhile, with Brian now out of the competition, Saara Aalto will go up against Love Island's Wes Nelson and Strictly Come Dancing's James Jordan in next weekend's big final.

Despite ripping his hernia last week, James gave two incredible performances during last night's show, resulting in him picking up two perfect scores of 40, making him the favourite to win.
